Guitarist/Composer Tadashi Kuriyama started playing guitar at the age of thirteen. At an early age, he took lessons from L.A. based guitarists such as Makoto Miyashita and Jinshi Ozaki, contributing to his deep appreciation for playing music. At the age of eighteen he enrolled in El Camino College where he studied music theory and performance with Richard Hastings. He transferred to Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach in 2009 where he studied with Ron Eschete and Michael Higgins. He graduated with a Bachelors of Music – Emphasis in Jazz Studies and Jazz Guitar Performance in 2012. He specializes in pop, rock, acoustic, and jazz. Currently Tadashi dedicates his time in music education and performing in Southern California area.
