My name is Ivo Iurevich Nguyen Marshukov. I was born in Moscow, Russia and raised in California. Piano has always been a huge part of my life. At the age of 3, I sat down on the instrument and played my first note. The sound and texture of piano really opened a new world to me. My mother, owner and founder of Virtuosos Russian Music Academy saw my gifted talents and made certain that I would pursue my life in musical studies. Throughout my childhood, I have participated in multiple festivals, competitions, and master classes. I graduated from Fountain High School with a Honor Roll Certificate and Merit and currently going to school at Cypress College, later transferring into the University of Southern California. Learning from these experiences brought me to where I am today. I am a young, yet ambitious and multitalented individual that has been teaching piano and the theory of music for 5 years. At the age of 13, I started working the desk for Virtuosos Russian Music Academy; filling paper, taking payments, setting schedules and most importantly learning the art of customer service. When I turned 15, I was hired to teach a theory class. After a few months, the board of VRMA agreed to hire me as a fulltime theory professor.
